Get to know UD Maracena, Valencia CF's opponent in the first round of the Copa del Rey
Founded in 1945, the Granada-based team plays in the Andalusian División de Honor and won the 2025 Andalusia Cup.
PUMA and VALENCIA CF have reinvented historical kits, modernising designs and referencing the club's origins, the bat symbol, the passion of the fans and Mestalla.
Following the initial slogan of FOOTBALL IS FOR THE BRAVE, with which the collaboration between PUMA and VALENCIA CF began, followed by last season's BORN FROM COURAGE, this year sees a focus on rebirth and looking to a golden era of the club: VCF DNA.
The design of this season's home kit is inspired by the characteristic bat that adorns the VALENCIA CF badge; an icon of bravery and identification that is present in everyday life at Mestalla and has become part of the heritage of the city.
The colours of the shirt focus on the classic white and black colour scheme, with which the club have enjoyed legendary moments such as the LaLiga and UEFA Cup double in 2003/04. The main part of the shirt is white, with black sleeves returning for this campaign and a camouflage print that provides an innovative look and the feeling of flapping bat wings.
The away kit is maroon, for the first time in more than three decades. It is the colour scheme most frequently used for the alternative strip in the club's 102 years of history, and the design is directly related to the founders of Valencia CF in 1919. A highlight is the print that covers the front of the shirt, also inspired by the bat that represents a unique city.
Both shirts, laser-cut and seamless, contribute to improved performance thanks to a perfect fit that allows maximum freedom of movement. They also incorporate PUMA's exclusive evoKNIT technology, which facilitates an improved humidity control system, creating the most suitable body temperature.
The city of Valencia will have a presence on the shirts, and also in the launch of the two kits. PUMA and VALENCIA CF have prepared different actions, with two new canvases erected at Mestalla in honour of club legends Juan Cruz Sol and Lobo Diarte, with graffiti styling of them wearing this season's home and away shirts.
Another giant canvas will be placed in the heart of the city so that fans can see the shirts in detail. PUMA have put up a circuit of almost a hundred billboards, some of which display the shirt from both sides.
The new kits are available now at the Valencia CF Online Store, from July 16th at the Valencia CF Official Stores (VCF Megastore and Mestalla) and in all PUMA stores, sports stores and on puma.com.
